Library: How to Install Windows 10 With System Broken Loop

Disclaimer: I am just a recorder. I record what I saw. None of the system, software, or program is created by me.

I. Intro

If you have read this post, you will remember I reinstalled Windows 10 with the help of a Taobao seller (he/him/his). Windows 10 is installed in this way because of some profound problems inside the hard drive and maybe other things that we can’t really fix it.

II. Problem

Even we can use “UEFI SanDisk” boot to go through the installation procedure, when it reboot, same problem happens every time.

Figure 1: The “Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart” loop.

III. Procedure

  1. I downloaded a remote control software, send him the control code, and inserted the USB drive.
  2. He partitioned the USB drive with “DiskGenius”, and use a USB etching tool to put programs into the USB. Some steps were missing because: 1. I didn’t record, 2. Everything happened too fast, 3. He was downloading things from nowhere.
  3. Anyway, a USB drive was made, but it’s not a Windows 10 booter.
  4. I boot it up with “UEFI SanDisk”, and then a Windows 7 (maybe) desktop appeared. It has DiskGenius, the remote control software, command prompt, system installation, and many other things.
  5. He did the partition first, divided the 480GB SSD into a 100GB C drive and the remaining to D drive.
  6. He double-clicked cmd, type “5”, enter, and Xunlei downloader appears.
  7. New task, paste http://42.192.140.61/system/T9.bat and http://42.192.140.61/system/Thunder/Profiles/TaskDb.bat
  8. It downloads two files: TaskDb.dat and T9.bat
  9. Double click T9.bat, and another two files started download to the SSD: DrvCeo.exe and the 5.5GB Windows 10 file.
  10. Then double click “Install system”, in the system image chose Windows 10 Professional, chose C drive, click “install system” button, check the first two “format partition” and “auto”, uncheck the third “reboot after finish”, and OK.
  11. After it’s done, take out the USB drive directly, and reboot.
  12. Press F2 during reboot to get into the settings, find the boot sequence, enable Windows boot manager, and reboot.
  13. It took a while to reboot, but it works.
