I. Intro
Date: December 2021
In this project, we used filters and amplifiers to make an audio equalizer. All the details can be found in the report below. Since I am the lab TA right now, feel free to leave comments and ask questions.

IV. Tips
- Test each part separately.
- Organize your breadboard wisely. Don’t put everything in a small chunk.
- If R8, R9, R10 are >> than RV1, RV2, RV3, it could be difficult to control.
- Use combination of regular resistors and variable resistors to adjust the R8, R9, and R10 simultaneously to get a better result. With this method, I got the final output with in 3 mV of error (97.64mV – 100.39 mV).
- Use 7V on the power amplifier (LM386) to get the 400 mW output.
- The resistors in the filter should be less than 1000 ohms to avoid loading.
