I. Intro
This page contains everything we did in AT219: build a quadcopter. If you have read About Me: General, you probably already realized that it was an easy project.
Structure of this page:
- I will first put on our Building Process Log and Maintenance Manual which will give you a general idea of this project.
- Then I will put the flight video. Our quadcopter, Denver, was the only one that didn’t crash.
Structure of this semester:
- Systems of a quadcopter: frame, power and power calculation, control
- Reverse Engineering: each group disassembled old quadcopters to see how everything was put together.
- Each group started building a quadcopter with new materials, mainly focused on the frame and the power system.
- We started designing and making the flight controller mount and finishing parameter settings.
- Test flight.

III. Test Flight
This was the test flight in the lab.
We also set a switch that would enable Denver to fly in a circle, and this video demonstrated that.
