Course Project: AT209 Lab 10 DJI Mavic 2 Pro Flights

I. Intro

Date: 11/18/2021

The season for Bramor is over. This time we are flying Mavic 2 Pro. We have prepared the new 128 GB micro-SD card and went through the checklist for the flight. Mavic 2 Pro is a DJI quad multirotor, carrying a high-quality camera and a 3-axis gimbal. It has several fantastic features that didn’t even exist when I started using DJI’s products, but we are just using the very basic features this time.

II. Flight Mission

Figure 1: Site condition
Figure 2: Crew 2 is waiting for permission to takeoff. We can see the weather condition from the background.

Figure group 3: The following pictures were taken at altitudes 100ft, 150ft, 200ft, 250ft, 300ft, 350ft, and 400ft (387ft), respectively. The roads are approximately aligned to show the increase in altitude. As the altitude increased, we can see more and more area on the ground, but the resolution of each object decreases because each pixel needs to cover a larger area.
